Novembergruppe. A movement, formed in Berlin in 1918, of Expressionist artists, writers and architects, the leaders being M. Pechstein and Cesar Klein, who were soon joined by the Berlin *Dadaists.
The Arbeitsrat worked closely with the Novembergruppe and the Deutscher Werkbund. Some of the architects represented in the Arbeitsrat united in the Glass Chain, or joined the correspondence group, Der Ring.
1920 - First exhibited in the Novembergruppe annual exhibitions, subsequently participating for the next 10 years.
1921 - Traveled to Prague with Hausmann.
1922 - Separation from Hausmann and exhibited in Berlin.
