Brachialis:
Location: Small muscle over the lower portion of the upper arm that connects the bottom half of the bicep to the forearm.
Function: Elbow flexion.
Exercise: Hammer curls and reverse grip barbell curls.

Brachialis - Latin for arm. Also gave us "bracket". (A brachiopod is a type of mollusk-like marine animal with an "arm-foot.) This is a muscle of the upper arm that is involved with flexing the elbow such as in a curl.

Brachialis
The Brachialis is often ignored when individuals attempt to increase arm size. It runs right under the Biceps brachii. The Brachialis acts as an elbow flexor and is actually the strongest elbow flexor.

Work the brachialis. It's a triangular-shaped muscle that lies under the biceps and contributes greatly to the fullness of your upper arm.

Developing the brachialis, meanwhile, has the same miracle effect of a saline implant inside a 34A chest. With nowhere else to go but up, the brachialis pushes against the biceps, which makes them seem larger than they actually are.

Secondary Muscles: brachialis and brachioradialis
Attachment: both muscles start on the humerus (in the upper arm) and attach to the bones in the forearm
Action: both muscles flex the elbow.

Muscles - Latissimus Dorsi, Biceps, Brachialis, Trapezius (mid)
Grasp a dumbbell with the right hand, using an overhand grip (palm facing the body)
Rest the left knee on a flat bench. Right leg should be flexed with the foot flat on the floor ...

A generic bench press utilizes pectoralis major, anterior deltoid, long head of biceps brachii and coracobrachialis to flex the shoulder. It also uses predominately triceps brachii and anconeous to produce elbow extension.

Beneath the biceps is the brachialis, a flat muscle group that runs about half way up the upper arm bone from the elbow joint.

A wide grup that puts more work on the inner biceps head; a standard shoulder width grip that everybody usually does; and a narrower grip that work your biceps more, and also your brachialis and brachioradialis.

TARGET MUSCLES: BRACHIORADIALIS, BICEPS BRACHI, BRACHIALIS
BICEPS CURL ON INCLINE-
Lie on incline bench grasping dumbbells lightly with palms facing away from body. Slowly bring arms up towards shoulders. Slowly lower and repeat.

This exercise stresses the forearm flexors, brachialis and the biceps. ...

This is a good exercise for working the muscles of your shoulder girdle. Primary muscles are the traps and the deltoids. Secondary muscles are the biceps, brachialis, and the forearms.
