Bulimia
Bulimia is similar to anorexia. With bulimia, a person binge eats (eats a lot of food) and then tries to compensate in extreme ways, such as forced vomiting or excessive exercise, to prevent weight gain.

 


BULIMIA: Eating disorder characterized by binge eating followed by fasting, self-induced vomiting or the use of diuretics and laxatives.

Bulimia Nervosa - Illness defined by uncontrollable overeating, usually followed by making oneself throw up or purge (get rid of food) in other ways.
