Chest Press on Ball

Chest Press with Resistance Band
Loop the band through a sturdy object at chest height. With your back to the object, grab a handle in each hand and step forward until there's no slack in the band.

Equipment
Dumbbells, mat or gym bench.
Exercise Technique
1. Lie on your back with the knees bent and a dumbbell in each hand.
2.

Chest Press - To perform a basic chest press, lie on your back with arms extended over your chest, dumbbells in your hand and palms facing forward. Now while inhaling, lower the dumbbells; elbows bending just above your chest. Hold for a second.

CHEST PRESS-
Plant feet on the floor with upper back and head firmly against Resista-Ball. Bend the elbows to form a 90° bend in elbows, press arms straight up towards ceiling, keeping a slight bend on elbows.

Chest Press Machines
When using a chest press machine, you need to keep the weight under control at all times. Doing so will assure the double-concentric movement of the exercise.

Wrap a resistance band around a stable object behind you. Hold the ends of the band taut in each hand, palms down, with the band on top of your arms.

Flat Chest Press
Lie faceup on a bench with a dumbbell in each hand, your wrists should be in a neutral position, palms facing forward, elbows bent 90 degrees and held out to the sides parallel with shoulders.

Supine DB chest press on ball
1. Lie on your back on a stability ball with your hips parallel with your upper body.
2. Hold a dumbell in each hand with your arms extended.
3. Bend your elbows and lower the dumbells down towards your chest.

- Lie on a flat bench with your spine in a neutral position. Hold a dumbbell in each hand at chest level with your upper arm parallel to the floor and your elbows facing outward.

Best Chest Workout

Your arms should remain perpendicular to your body throughout any chest press exercise. You should also stop when you reach a 90-degree bend in your elbow during the eccentric (relaxing) phase.

For example, if you are doing a chest press, you also need your triceps to perform the lift. If you have already done three exercises for those triceps, they will be too tired to be of any use to you in your chest press.
