Many do not contain the recommended daily value of minerals like calcium. If for some reason you are not getting enough calcium in your diet from dairy or other products, consider taking a calcium supplement as well.
Never mind the RDA's or newer Daily Values, they are not designed with athletes in mind, they are meant to keep you borderline healthy. The amounts advised are just barely enough to keep you from avoiding various deficiency-related diseases.
