Ectomorph
Ectomorphs need to focus their efforts of gaining muscular bodyweight.

 


ECTOMORPH
An ectomorph is a typical skinny guy. Ecto’s have a light build with small joints and lean muscle. Usually ectomorph’s have long thin limbs with stringy muscles. Shoulders tend to be thin with little width.

Ectomorphs are often secretly hated by endomorphs for their slender, lean and long bodies. They tend to miss meals, stop eating under stress, and may only occasionally have a sweet tooth.

Ectomorphy
An ectomorphic person (e.g. 117) would be tall and thin, with a narrow body, thin arms and legs, little body fat and wiry muscles.

Ectomorph
A predominantly endomorphic individual is long, slender and thin, and therefore power and strength sports are almost totally out of the question. Their slight build also leaves them susceptible to injuries.

ECTOMORPH
The build: Skinny, with long limbs and a narrow torso. Small boned.
Tendency: You produce muscle slowly but stay lean fairly easily.

ECTOMORPH: Body Type Characterized by a light build and slight muscular development.
EDEMA: Swelling as a result of the collection of fluid within the tissues.
ENDOGENOUS: Developed or originated in the body.

Ectomorph- A body shape characterized by a narrow chest, narrow shoulders and long, thin muscles.

Ectomorphs are petite, very thin, and their shoulders are the same width as their hips (think Christina Aguilera). They have a very difficult time putting on muscle or maintaining their weight.

You should tailor your eating habits and exercise routines to suit the shape you were born with.

If I had a fast ectomorph style metabolism, I would add a little alcohol to try to slow it down. Eat a peanut butter sandwich before bed and drink a lot of milk. Eat fruit or veg with each meal. Get a lot of sleep.

Exercise and balanced diet is the key to transform your body, but at times Working out is just not enough. Traditionally, bodies seem to fall in one of three categories: Ectomorphic, Mesomorphic, & Endomorphic.

In other words, the mesomorphs gained five times more muscle than the ectomorphs.
