Unilateral Training
One way to create balance and boost training is to incorporate unilateral training. This is working one arm or leg at a time with dumbbells, machines, or cables to allow unilateral movements.

Unilateral Training:
It means working one side of the body at a time.
V-Taper:
A person with big shoulders and a small waist.

Exploit Unilateral Training
That's just a very fancy way of saying train one side at a time. Any time you do exercises like leg extensions, leg presses, overhead dumbbell extensions, cable pressdowns, pulldowns, etc.
