Bicolour

Gardening BicolorBiennial

Bicolour: A plant with flowers or leaves with two distinctively different colours.
Biennial: A plant that goes from germination to seed bearing and death in two seasons.

BICOLOUR - A flower with petals which bear two distinctly different colors.

Dahlia 'Hillier Fire-n-Ice' is a light red and white bicoloured decorative. A strong-stemmed, yellow-centred red variety called Dahlia 'Hillier Harlequin' was bred by Vin. Dahlia 'Taratahi Lilac' is a long-stemmed magenta-pink from New Zealand.

Cobless corn (a bit of a misnomer, since there is a very slender cob) produces an unusual-looking, narrow bicolour corn with small but abundant sweet, tender kernels. Only one variety, 'Sugar Finger' (78 days), is currently available.
