Butterfly Bush (Buddleia davidii) is a favorite in perennial gardens. One reason is that it is so low maintenance. Cut it back hard at the beginning of the season and then sit back and watch it shoot up 5 - 6 and bloom until frost.

Tree Roses can be developed from any type of rose. They are made by grafting a bush onto a long thick trunk. These look great on a patio or porch.

Perhaps the only downside to these lush plants with their colorful blooms, is that they shed their leaves the fall. The leafless bush becomes a less than attractive clump of stalks and stems until the following spring.

We have bush green beans ( Blue Lake variety ) and they are growing extremely well, large bushes and plenty of blooms ... some are beginning to become beans and all seems well except that the plant leaves are beginning to turn yellow.

Open the bush up by removing all branches that cross through the center. Cut out very thin canes, and remove any branches that cross or rub together.
Keep the nice green healthy canes.
