Cash crops-Crops that farmers grow to sell rather than to use as food for themselves or as livestock feed.
Climate-Climate is the expected long-term weather found in a region, such as a hot, dry desert or the cold, snowy arctic.

Peter has been growing some Oakleaf lettuces at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens as a 'cash crop'. He had some space to spare so he put in a few lettuces to be sold in the shop at the Gardens to raise funds to go towards their upkeep.

Living mulches are crops planted between perennial (sometimes annual) cash crops, like orchard trees. They suppress weeds, reduce soil erosion, enhance soil fertility and improve water infiltration.

Those of us growing Anise do so for the fresh and popular flavor of licorice. Anise is native to Southern Europe and the Mediterranean, where is grown as a cash crop. You can also find Anise growing wild in fields. It is related to caraway and dill.
