Chlorophyll - A green pigment found in chloroplasts that is used in photosynthesis.

You can add chitin-a polysaccharide complex found in both shellfish shells and nematode eggs-to the soil to help control nematodes; a commercial form called ClandoSan is available.

The cells have their shape defined by a thick wall around the membrane, just like any plant, but this cell wall is not made of celulosis, but of chitin, the same substance found on insects exoskeletons.
