Obcordate - inversely heart-shaped; an obovate leaf which is much more deeply notched at the tip.
Cuspidate - tipped with an elongated sharp or rigid point.

The foliage is 8 to 12 inches in length, cordate (heart-shaped at base) to rhomboid (like a lozenge) in shape, and sometimes coarsely toothed on the margins.
