Evergreen Ash Tree- Fraxinus griffithii
A small tree of 4-6m. Most times around 5m. Thick, lush foliage. Evergreen. Develops white sprays of flowers in summer. Low maintenance. Not suitable for areas with heavy frosts.

Evergreen trees and shrubs are more expensive in general than deciduous trees (trees that drop their leaves in winter). But they are worth their cost because of their year-round beauty, hardiness and longevity.

Evergreens make wonderful, quick hedges and privacy screens. When planting, zig-zag your trees to give a fuller effect and to allow the trees to get air and sun. This will also help the hedge give with the wind, preventing breakage and wind tunnels.

Evergreen
Evergreens keep their leaves all year and continue growing slowly in winter. The leaves are protected from frost by their thick, often waxy skin.
Some of the older leaves are shed through the year.
