Floribundas are available in a vast array of colors and styles and can grow as high as 4 feet. They are often grown for display rather than as a cut flower. Planted as an elegant landscape bush, they can produce abundant color for many seasons.
Floribundas feature high-centered blooms, as well as the traditional saucer-shaped, open form of earlier rose varieties.
Floribundas aren't usually known for their fragrance, but 'Moondance' has a pleasant, spicy scent. Combine that with its nice long stems and you have a wonderful cut flower.
The floribunda rose bushes make marvelous landscape plantings due to their typically lower and bushy form, she loves to cover herself with clusters or sprays of blooms.

Floribunda Roses
This is another favourite group and comes from crossing hybrid tea roses with polyanthus. The flowers are borne on large trusses (groups of blooms).
Floribunda Roses: Any of several hybrid roses bearing numerous single or double flowers. Plants are hardier and bushier than most roses.

Floribunda: Bushes that range from 2 to 6 feet tall and equally wide. Most are cold-hardy. They bloom continuously in clusters of medium-size flowers. Many color options. For the flower border or cut flowers. Fragrance varies.

The floribunda rose appeared as a result of breeding the polyanthas back to Hybrid Teas to get more hardiness. The first was introduced in 1909, but the group wasn't formally recognized until the 40's.
Floribundas. Developed during the last century, these roses are shorter and bloom more freely, setting clusters of blossoms rather than a single bloom on a stem.

Floribundas and most shrubs of all types respond best to pruning below the candelabra clusters that result from spring growth. The low pruning will shorten the rose bush but only until the next bloom cycle.
