Gibberellic acid: A natural plant growth hormone that helps control dormancy of flowers, buds and seed and causes stems to become longer. In members of the arum family, it causes flowers that have already formed to begin growing.

Commercial growers treat their grape crops with gibberellic acid, a growth hormone that causes the cells to grow larger and longer than normal. No forms of this hormone are registered for homeowner use.

If that doesn't work, we can try other treatments, like smoke water, gibberellic acid, bleaches and various other techniques for breaking dormancy.
