Hoary White or whitish.

The Hoary Sunray (Leucochrysum albicans) looks like a poached egg, with magnificent golden centres to the flowers. They love the sun, so you can plant them in any pocket in an open sunny spot.

In Canada, the bee is found mostly in southern Ontario; Kevan thinks the hoary squash bee's territory extends only as far north as Collingwood and Ottawa; it should be present in southern Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, too, ...

For example, the hoary squash bee depends entirely on squash and pumpkin. These bees are solitary and nest in burrows in the ground that approximately 10 inches deep and about the diameter of a pencil.
