Many people have written to Gardening Australia asking for a recipe for liquid manure - so here it is.
Liquid manure A fertilizer made by running water through or into solid manure
Linear Long and narrow.
Lineate Lined; bearing thin parallel lines.
Both of these can be used to make a liquid manure. Gather the nettles in the spring and pack into a bucket or other suitable container. To 2lb of nettles add about 1 gallon of water. Leave for 2 to 3 weeks. Stir occasionally.
MANURE TEA: Manure and fertilizers dissolved in water, resulting in liquid manure.
MARGINAL PLANT: Plants that will grow on the edges of ponds or lakes.
MASS PLANTING: The planting of one particular flower or many of the same kind close together.
To encourage secondary flowering, feed the plants with a liquid manure or apply fertiliser to the soil around the base and water it in well.
