MANURE TEA - A liquid fertilizer made by mixing manures with water and filtering out. Pillow cases filled with cow or horse patooties and dunked in a pail of water.
MANURE TEA is an organic liquid fertilizer. Make the tea by filling a bucket one-third full of dry cow manure then fill with water. Steep outside for three days. Then pour off the liquid and you have manure tea.
MANURE TEA: Manure and fertilizers dissolved in water, resulting in liquid manure.
MARGINAL PLANT: Plants that will grow on the edges of ponds or lakes.
MASS PLANTING: The planting of one particular flower or many of the same kind close together.
Manure Tea
Liquid fertilizer made by dissolving or soaking a quantity of manure in a large volume of water. Steep the mixture overnight or longer and use on such plants as primrose, delphiniums and foliage plants that tend to be nutrient hungry.

I favor the use of compost as a true slow-release fertilizer and manure tea made from aged horse or cow manure for a nutrient punch when the time is right.
