A perforated hose, which allows water to seep out slowly, will make it easier to keep your bog garden wet during dry periods.

Most garden centers and discount stores sell soaker hoses, which are inexpensive, perforated hoses with tiny holes so that they slowly drip water along the length of the hose into the soil.

Drip irrigation systems use small, perforated hoses. These holes allow for a slow, controlled water leak.

Consider drip irrigation that waters the area. A sprinkle system with perforated hoses is also adequate. Whatever you decide, make sure that your system will not overwater your garden or waste water.
