Polysaccharide

Starch - A polysaccharide in plants used for the storage of glucose.
Stele - The central vascular tube in roots which includes the xylem and phloem.

You can add chitin-a polysaccharide complex found in both shellfish shells and nematode eggs-to the soil to help control nematodes; a commercial form called ClandoSan is available.
