Remontant
A term used to describe plants that flower more than once in a season, eg, some rose varieties.

Urn-shape (urceolate) - broad tube and slightly recurved, short limb, as in Vaccinium spp. (blueberry).
Salver-form - slender tube and an abruptly widened, flat limb.

All costapalmate leaves are markedly recurved, too, and oven have a 'V' shape at the costa making them look very complex. Illustrating one has been a challenge and most illustrations of such a leaf are inaccurate and misleading.

The flowers commonly have more or less recurved petals, and usually face outward or upward (as opposed to drooping). Unlike their Oriental cousins, Asiatic lilies have little fragrance. They bloom in early summer, often flowering for a month or more.

"Laura Lace' has lots of ruffling in its 5-inch recurved flowers. Light salmon pink basic color deepens in the edges; scapes rise 25 inches. "Parade View,' showy in July, opens medium-large yellow flowers with bold dark purple eye or halo.

The tip grows downward first, then bends sharply and grows upward. Roots form at the bend, and the recurved tip becomes a new plant. Remove the tip layer and plant it in the early spring or late fall.

Lilies flowers also come in a variety of forms, including: trumpet-shaped, bowl-shaped, funnel-shaped and recurved.

These three-lobed, white to lavender blooms measure an inch across, but they're covered on the top side by a spine-tipped, recurved bract in shades of lavender or a greenish hue.
