SUBTROPICAL - Very specific area, 5 to 10 degrees higher in latitude than the Tropic of Cancer of the Tropic of Capricorn.

Citrus are subtropical plants, and grow more or less all the time in their native regions. Most grow in flushes followed by several weeks in which the plants rest.
