Successive Planting
Some vegetables have a short harvest season. If only one planting is make, these vegetables will be available for a limited time. Two or three plantings of these crops may be made a week or 10 days apart.
Successive plantings is the term for planting the same thing over and over at set intervals throughout the course of a growing season.
