Use a hard toothed rake to rake across the soils to make small approximately ¾ to 1 inch little rows in the soils. The wildflower seeds of choice are sprinkled by hand over the rows that were just made with the hard toothed rake.
Use a large-toothed pruning or turf saw to trim and fit rolled turf around mow strips, sidewalks, planters and the like. Carefully cut vertically through the sod to avoid damaging the turf or grass roots.

Helenium produces dense clumps of sturdy stems, well clothed in lance-shaped, toothed leaves. The stems rise almost straight upward, topped by thick clusters of flowers over a long period. The flowers are daisylike with dark centers.
The birchleaf pear (Pyrus betulifolia 'Dancer') has saw-toothed, light green leaves that dance in the slightest breeze. Fast-growing and vigorous, this tree has strong branching habits and a pyramidal silhouette.
Use a finely-toothed, curved pruning saw to remove branches up to 2 1/2 inches in diameter. You can make a clean cut with this type of saw where access is difficult. Use a coarsly-toothed saw for heavy branches 3 inches or more in diameter.
The oval, dark green leaves have toothed edges, and have a strong scent of mint with overtones of other herbs, some rose-flavored, some lemony. Like all mints, stems are distinctly four-sided.

Appearance Burnet consists of a flat rosette of spiky-toothed leaves from which a flowering stem grows. The leaves have a fresh cucumber taste. Burnet will grow to a height of 30cm.

The lacy variegation and toothed edge on these leathery evergreen leaves are beautiful even when it's not in bloom. Creamy green flowers are sure to be some of the earliest to bloom and make fine cut flowers as well.
Dentata grows tall (2 metres) with long stems of blue flowers and toothed leaves. Then there are the Stoechas types, some-times called Spanish or Italian Lavender.
