Trellises for Potted Plants
Made from a collection of wires, bars or wooden slats (lattice), trellises are pretty nifty garden tools. They're used for supporting and training plants and really help out when growing in smaller areas.

Trellises
Planting vines to grow up a trellis lets you grow edibles like beans and peas and decorative plants like clematis and climbing roses in a limited space. Additionally, planting with a trellis adds privacy to your balcony.

Trellis - frame of small boards or PVC (lattice) that trains or supports plants.
True breed - see INBRED.

Wire Trellis System
Give trailing plants a wire trellis or fence to grow on instead of a post, and spread the canes out as much as possible.

A trellis is great for a wall or even a fence that needs a little something more. To build one simply take pressure treated 1×2′s (we used 8-foot pieces) and secure one end of all the boards together at one end using screws.

A trellis wall allows air and light to filter through, but acts as a bit of a windbreak, a bonus in tinier, narrow lots, which can sometimes become wind tunnels.

Use a trellis, either free-standing or attached to a wall.
