Tropical plant nurseries are companies that collect, grow, propagate and sell tropical plants. The nurseries are vital for the growing of plant species that require intense or difficult to manage growing conditions.

Tropical plants can generally be fertilised any time of year. Use manures or granular fertilisers. As a general rule of thumb around 50grams per square metre is an adeqate amount of fertiliser for most plants three to four times per year.
