Drain apricots, reserving syrup. Stir 1 cup apricot syrup into cornstarch mixture. Cook over medium heat until boiling. Stir constantly and let boil 2 minutes. Add apricots, butter and chopped pecans; pour over sweet potatoes.

 


Put the apricots into a pan with ¾ pt water. Boil, reduce the heat and simmer until tender but not mushy.
Turn off the heat and leave in juice.
When the chicken has marinated, heat 6 tbsp oil in a pan over medium heat.

Apricots
are early-ripening summer fruits, that native to China but grown worldwide. They are available fresh, canned, or dried. Buy fairly firm, blemish-free fresh apricots, avoiding any tinged with green. Complete ripening at room temperature.

Apricots packed in heavy syrup drained liquid discarded, simple syrup, fresh lemon juice, and heavy cream are used to cook Apricot Ice Cream dessert apricot recipe.

Apricots can be sliced or halved and frozen in syrup. They are also great for making brandy or wine.
