Cantuccini Tuscan almond cookies that resemble small Biscotti. Capellini Literally "fine hair"; fine strands of pasta that are usually used in soup. Capers Sun-dried flower buds that are pickled in vinegar and salt brine.

 


Traditional Italian almond biscuits also known as Cantuccini, biscotti are made to an old Tuscan recipe. They are very hard, crunchy biscuits and are traditionally dipped in Vin Santo, a dessert wine, at the end of a meal.
