Dalchini or Darchim: Cinnamon.
Danish: a large, flat sweet roll, typically served at breakfast.
Dash: A very small amount, less than 1/8 teaspoon.

 


Put fish, dalchini, tej patte, moti illaichi and laung in a pan. Add some water and boil till fish is soft
Cool remove skin and bones and mash well
Add all the other ingredients. Mix well.
Shape into kababs and deep fry to a golden brown colour.

Dalchini. The quill-like dried bark of the cinnamon tree. It is one of the most aromatic spices. Same family as cassia, it is generally used in dishes which require a delicate flavour. Cloves. Lavang. Coriander. Dhania.
