Durian is a large, green, thorny fruit cultivated in south east Asia, particularly in the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia and Malaysia. It is considered a great delicay by most, and is also known the 'king of fruits'.

A large, green, spiky, south-east Asian fruit about the size of a football. To all but its fans, the durian has a nauseating smell - in fact its transport has been outlawed by many airlines.
