Floweret: A small flower, one of a cluster of composite flowers, of broccoli or cauliflower.
Flute: To make decorative indentations around the edge of pastry, vegetables, or fruit.

 


Dip the cauliflower flowerets in this batter and deep fry in oil, drain and set aside.
In an open pan, put some oil and when it smokes add the remaining garlic and ginger paste.

Steam 2 cups broccoli flowerets in a microwave oven. Prepare 1 pound pasta (like penne) according to package directions. Drain the oil from a 7 ounce jar of sun dried tomatoes. Put the oil in a small bowl. Chop the tomatoes into bite size pieces.

To steam broccoli, rinse flowerets and pieces. Place steamer basket in large saucepan; add 1 inch of water. (Water should not touch bottom of basket.) Place buttons in steamer; top with flowerets. Cover.
