Gastronomy is the study of food and culture, with a particular focus on gourmet cuisine.

Molecular Gastronomy is the science of culinary transformations and more generally to gastronomical phenomena. It should not be confused with Molecular Cooking, which is the application of Molecular Gastronomy to cooking.

gastronomy - The study and appreciation of good food and good eating, and a culture's culinary customs, style and lore.

Gastronomy - The art and science of fine dining, fine food, and drink.
Giblets - The heart, neck, liver, and gizzard of poultry.

The gastronomy of Languedoc grew as a result of the influence of Spain. A Spanish tide flowed over the Pyrenees to towns like Toulouse, Béziers, Narbonne, and Montpellier.
