Makes 1 Gingerbread House
Note: On the cookie sheet you will see by the top of the house a side piece really close to the house, that is almost too close, so I wouldn't place the pieces that close if you are new to this.
A gingerbread house mold can be a complicated thing, but once you get one you like, you may never go back to gingerbread kits. While the kits are lovely and decorative, the gingerbread is not terrific in taste.
Building a gingerbread house can be a daunting task. If you're making your house from scratch, it can take hours. And with busy holiday schedules, who has time for that?

At Christmas, my children and I make gingerbread houses using graham crackers, marshmallow cream, shredded coconut, and "free" candy as decorations. I know the graham crackers are too high in phe for some but it was a great project for us.
This dough is very easy to work with. We use this gingerbread to make our annual gingerbread houses. One recipe makes 3 fair sized gingerbread houses....
