halibut - Halibut is a large flatfish, resembling the turbot in appearance, and is the largest in the flatfish group. They sometimes weigh in at over 500 pounds and six feet in length.

Halibut is a large saltwater fish with lean, mild-flavored, flaky white flesh. It is available as fresh or frozen steaks or fresh or frozen fillets.
