Indian Recipe for Eid : Mutton Korma
Ingredients: ½ kg Boneless mutton. ½ tbsp Jeera. Onions.(Finely chopped 1 cup) Poppy seed paste. (½ cup) Coconut paste. (½ cup) 1 tbsp Ginger paste. 1 tbsp Garlic paste. Coriander powder 1 tbsp.
Korma - also, quoorma. A spicy Pakistani/Indian stew made of mutton and yogurt and flavored with the spices that go into a curry.

Korma curry paste, a mix of mostly heat-free spices, forms the base of a mild, almost nutty, slow-cooked curry. Korma curries can vary widely but often include chicken or vegetables cooked with yoghurt.

However, the term Kurma or Korma, in India actually mean that the meat has been cooked by braising or slow-cooking. It is not necessarily mild, it can he hot as you please.

In India, black cumin is used whole and roasted and is added to yogurts, chutneys, curries, biryanis, kormas, kebabs, garam masalas, lassis (yogurt drinks), and the breads of North India and Pakistan.
