A light beer that is fermented at a lower temperature than most beers. Lager is fermented for a period of 6 weeks to 6 months. It is the most popular of the beers in America.

A lager is a type of beer that is recognized by its high carbonation level and light color, though some modern lager beers are darker in color and may even be black. The lager beer was originally developed in the 19th century.

Lager
Lager is the term casually used in English to describe bottom-fermented beers of Dutch, German and sometimes of Czech styles, though in the latter case the term Pilsener is more common.

Lager - any light beer.
Lamb - the meat of a sheep slaughtered when less than 1 year old; generally tender with a mild flavor; also known as a yearling.

The basic snakebite is a mixture of equal parts of lager beer and cider, typically served in pint or half-pint servings.

Method :
Combine ingredients in equal parts in a shot glass.

60ml milk or beer (bitter is best - definitely not lager!)
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 egg yolk (or 25g unsalted butter)
Half a teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
Salt and pepper to season
4 slices toasted bread of your choice ...
