Milk is a common ingredient in many desserts and breads. It also can be served from a glass as a beverage.

Coconut Milk:
This is not the liquid that is found in the center of coconuts, but a thick liquid made by steeping fresh grated coconut in hot water. The hot water helps to extract the fat from the coconut meat, which carries so much of this flavor.

Evaporated milk is homogenized milk with 60 percent of its water removed and vitamin D added for nutritional purposes. It is unsweetened and is available in whole, low-fat, and fat-free versions.

In a blender put the strawberry, sugar and a cup of milk. Blend it to a smooth paste.
Add the rest of the milk and blend it once again.
Strain it with a mesh into a large jar. Let this cool at least 2 hours.

'Little Sheep', Italian ewe's milk cheese
Pecorino is the generic Italian name for cheese made from sheep's milk rather than cow's. Pecora is the Italian for sheep, and pecorino is 'little sheep'.
