Muffin pans are used for baking muffins, popovers, cupcakes, tartlets, and miniature quiches and pizzas. Miniature pans hold about 1 1/2 tablespoons, standard about 1/2 cup (4 fl oz/125 ml), and oversized about 3/4 cup (6 fl oz/180 ml).
