A flatbread with a slightly puffed and blistered soft crust.

Naan, like many staple foods, has a long history. The first record noting the existence of naan dates back to 1300 AD. It is also known that naan was served at the imperial court in Delhi for many centuries.

Naan - a white flour Indian flat bread. It is one of the most loved Indian breads. A trip to an Indian restaurant usually involves the ordering of some kind of Naan. It is traditionally made in a brick and clay tandoor oven.
