Nabemono: refers to a category of communal one-pot meals that are popular in Japan, particularly during cold weather. Ingredients are prepared in bite-size portions in advance, and then cooked at the table in broth or oil.
Namak: Salt.

Nabemono refers to a class of Japanese dishes known as one pot dishes. Nabe means cooking pot. Traditionally, this was a clay pot cooked over a fire.

ONE POT COOKERY - "NABEMONO"
The Japanese are quite fond of nabemono, or "one pot cookery." During mid-autumn when the days start getting colder, these hearty winter meals become common everywhere.

Shabu shabu, alternatively spelled syabu syabu, is a Japanese culinary dish which descended from the Mongolian tradition of nabemono, or 'one pot' cooking.

In Japanese restaurant kitchens, where the fish is used in both sashimi and nabemono, only qualified cooks are allowed to clean and portion the fish. The reason? The various types of pufferfish known as fugu are so poisonous as to be lethal.

nabe (Jap.) Pot; nabemono means one pot communal cooking.
nacho (Mex.) A small tortilla chip topped with melted cheese and chilies.
