Orange water or orange flower water is a fragrant distillation of orange blossoms and used in flavoring baked goods and other sweet and savory dishes and in drinks such as a Ramos Gin Fizz.

 


Orange Water / Orange Flower Water - a liquid essence of distilled orange blossoms, once used for flavoring.

A syrup is made from honey, sugar, lemon juice, and orange water, heated together on the stove until they reach a thick consistency. The syrup is poured over the baklava pieces and allowed to soak in, creating a sweet, rich, moist dessert.
