Pastry Wheel - A utensil with a cutting wheel attached to a handle. It's used to mark and cut rolled-out dough, and may have a plain or decorative edge.

 


Pastry wheel - Small, serrated wooden or metal wheel-like utensil for cutting and fluting pastry.
Pasty - Small pastry pie with a savory filling of meat, potatoes and onion.
Patatas - [Spanish] potatoes.

Pastry Wheel - A small fluted wheel, made of wood, steel, or plastic, mounted on a handle used to cut pastry into strips or serrated bands for decorating the top of tarts, pies, etc. or to cut out shapes for fritters and ravioli.

In batches, roll out the dough until it is 1/8-inch thick, prick it here and there with a fork (if you like, you can dress it up with a pastry wheel to look like Graham crackers, but since you'll be grinding it up for a crust, don't waste your time), ...

We use our Fry Daddy a lot for tortilla chips and French beignets. I also like to make crackers for Adam and use a pastry wheel with fluted edge , available for a few dollars from a kitchen store) to cut the edges of the crackers.
