A wide variety of dishes are served with basmati rice, including pulaos, pilafs, biryanis, meats, and vegetables. Betel Leaf A thick, smooth, dark green leaf.

Pat dry with paper towels (to remove excess oil).
Garnish with slightly sauted sliced onions and green chillies, curry leaves and lime slices.
An excellent appetizer/starter and side dish for biryanis/pulaos/other rice varieties.

To cook: Boil whole sausages in water to cover. When done, add a few whole pearl onions or thickly sliced onions and cook for a few more minutes. Cut the sausages into 2 inch pieces and serve in their own gravy as an accompaniment to pulaos.
