Separating eggs is a process usually used in cooking, in which one removes the egg yolk from the egg white.

Separating eggs can be a messy job, unless you have the right kind of kitchen utensil. Fortunately, the egg separator is a simple kitchen tool that easily divides the yolk from the white in seconds.

Separating eggs is much easier and quicker with an egg separator.
Electric Hand Mixer: A hand held mixer which usually comes with various attachments including a whisk attachment for whisking cream, batters and egg whites and sugar.

This is why it's a good idea when separating eggs to have three bowls: one for the yolks, one for the whites and one bowl to separate over so that you won't have to throw out a whole batch if one yolk breaks while separating.
