This grapefruit-mandarin cross looks like a grapefruit in an ill-fitting suit.

 


Its flesh is juicy and has a sweet flavor with a slight spiciness to it. The Tangor contains few seeds. It is available January through March. Tangors are also referred to as Royal Mandarins or Temple Oranges.
