Many home cooks making tortillas use a tortilla press, a device which is designed to produce even, round tortillas by compressing them between two heavy metal dies.
I found a tortilla press on the Internet and it works great. I divide the dough into about 35 gm. portions, put between the waxed paper in the press and close it and press down.
