abscissa

[coordinate systems] In a rectangular coordinate system, the distance of the x-coordinate along a horizontal axis from the vertical or y-axis. For example, a point with the coordinates (7,3) has an abscissa of 7.

abscissa -- the coordinate of a point in a plane Cartesian coordinate system obtained by measuring parallel to the x-axis ("the 'x' value").

abscissa
In a rectangular coordinate system, the distance of the x-coordinate along a horizontal axis from the vertical or y-axis. For example, a point with the coordinates (7,3) has an abscissa of 7.

The abscissa is simply the number of spectral bands, plotted at equal intervals; the ordinate is the DN range from 0 - 255. There is a scroll button: by dragging it down you will see each class spectral curve by itself, with its name labeled.

The user chooses a visualization goal from a presented goal list, and a parameter to be displayed on the abscissa.
