Address locators that use different reference data types or that require different input information can be combined in a Composite Address Locator. An address is processed through each locator in turn, until a match is found.

Address Geocoding can be thought of a a very complex table join.
To match a maximum number of records, Address Coder employs four tiers of address locators in a cascading fallback concept. The primary locator uses the Tele Atlas Street Address Range database to match records by street address.
