The ArcInfo workspace file storage model works as indicated in this diagram. In this example, the workspace jasper contains data sources for the layers water, soil, elevatin, and vegetatn.
INFO database The contents of a set of INFO data files, feature attribute tables, and related files stored in each ArcInfo workspace under a subdirectory named INFO.
assign a connection name and description
assign the ArcInfo workspace folder (this is the directory where the ARCINFO coverage exists - not the name of the coverage itself.
Use the green box to outline a box no bigger than, say 40 miles on a side (this should be plenty at this resolution. When you get these datasets they are zipped arcinfo workspaces containing one arcinfo grid dataset apiece.
