Feature Attributes
In ArcView, features are stored in a database along with information describing them. The descriptive information stored with a feature is called the feature's attributes.

Attributes: Characteristics of a geographic feature described by numbers, characters, and images, typically stored in a tabular format and linked to the feature by an identifier. A column in a database table.

Map attributes
Every flat map of the earth must distort some of the earth's features. Therefore, when we analyze a the properties of a given map, we focus on certain important map attributes that the map may or may not have.
Join attributes
Alter the image list file, by adding a field to hold the building name field. The first line of the file needs to contain the field names.
I suggest image_path for the images, bldg_name (as before) for the building name.

Objects in the ontology can be described by assigning attributes to them. Each attribute has at least a name and a value, and is used to store information that is specific to the object it is attached to.
